Course Objectives: 

To make students understand 

1. The fundamental knowledge of Cloud Computing architecture, deployment models and service models. 

2. Virtualization technologies and their role in cloud computing environments. 

3. Cloud computing architecture, SOA principles and cloud security mechanisms. 

4. The concepts, architectures and types of cloud storage systems. 

5. Application deployment strategies on cloud platform. 

Course Outcomes:

After successful completion of the course, learner will be able to: 

CO1: Describe the fundamentals, architecture, deployment models and service models of Cloud Computing. 

CO2: Explain the concept of virtualization, virtualization architectures, virtual machines and hypervisors used in cloud computing environments. 

CO3: Analyze the characteristics, principals and components of service-oriented architecture and its integration with cloud computing environments. 

CO4: Categorize cloud storage concepts related to storage models, storage services, data management techniques, security mechanisms used in cloud storage systems. 

CO5: Apply cloud native design principles, modern deployment strategies, and orchestration tools to deploy, scale and manage automated applications across cloud infrastructure services.
